Konica Minolta Business Solutions NZ takes its role in ensuring social responsibility in its operations very seriously.
The Konica Minolta Toner Recycling Process
1. Call TRC on 0800 180 160 and for $10 TRC will send out a toner recycling box, pick up and collect the full box and dispose or recycle the contents in an environmentally friendly manner.
2. Place your empty toner cartridges, toner bottles, imaging units and waste toner units in the box.
3. Once your box is full call the above number for a pick up.
All that needs to be done is write your job number on the box, ring TRC and a courier will be dispatched to you to pick the box up and deliver it to the TRC warehouse.
What can I put in the box?
You can empty toner cartridges, bottles, imaging units (photoconductor drums) and waste toner units into the box.
What does TRC do with the Toner Cartridges?
At TRC, sorting, dismantling, and evaluation are the next steps. If the cartridge is not capable of being remanufactured it is separated into component parts and recycled. However, if the cartridge is capable of having another useful lifecycle, then it is directed towards a remanufacturer for further evaluation, testing, refilling and eventually sold as a remanufactured cartridge. The otherwise useless cartridge is given a new lease of life and diverted from spending a near eternity in one of our country’s landfills.
TRC is an environmentally friendly company that supports the communities from which it gathers cartridges.
