Konica Minolta Offshore Racing Last season the Konica Minolta Offshore Racing Team brought home first in class and first overall in the 60 mile championship. With Mikey Smith in the driver's seat and new co-driver Shane Rumens they are looking to do the same in 2013.The NZ Offshore Championship currently consists of an eight race series held throughout the North Island from January until May.This is Konica Minolta's eighth year as a sponsor and one of the fantastic and unique aspects of the sport is its family oriented vibe. The Konica Minolta Offshore Racing Team will be at each event with the boat on display on the Friday and the Saturday before and after the race to allow a chance for the public to see the boat up close and take a photo or two.
