Network Device Management

To check on the status of your printer/copier, you can get up and go to the machine -- but PageScope gives you a better way.

PageScope Web Connection is simple and easy to use. It’s a web-based network utility that comes in each Konica Minolta bizhub device* -- and with it, you can manage your device on a one-to-one basis right from your desktop PC. You can use your standard web browser to see detailed information on status and settings, adjust your settings, set up one-touch dialing, choose the address for scanned data, and more.

For large networks, PageScope Web Connection is a real time-saver. You no longer need to go to each device and make adjustments on its operating panel. And because you can access information quickly and easily, uptime is increased -- so your document flow is more productive.

Features

Web-Based Management
PageScope Web Connection gives each bizhub device its own HTTP server. It’s like a web page for your MFP -- and you can use your standard web browser to find out all you need to know about it.

Monitor Device Status
PageScope Web Connection lets you verify the system configuration and status of your device, to be sure it’s ready to print. You can check paper supply, toner level and copy count.

Change Settings
You can adjust print settings, such as page layout, number of copies, which paper tray to draw on and which output tray to send your prints or copies to.

Set Scan Destinations
You can also configure one-touch scan destinations, scan-to-Email addresses, scan to FTP, scan to HDD, scan to desktop and more.

Two Security Level Settings
Administrators can log into a bizhub device and have full access to configuration settings; end-users have only limited access to configuration adjustments.

A Direct Link for Networking
Because PageScope Web Connection interfaces seamlessly with PageScope Net Care, an entire array of Konica Minolta bizhub devices and other MIB-compliant devices can be managed from a single point.

Advantages

Save Time
Without leaving your desk, you can check paper level and toner status, see if your print, scan or fax job is complete, or find out why a job may be interrupted. For networks with many devices, that can mean significant time savings.

Increased Productivity
You can do it all yourself, with less assistance -- so end-users and system administrators will both be more productive.

Simplify the Process
Because all information on each device is standardized in one familiar GUI, you’ll find it simpler to adjust different models -- and easier to train end-users.

Print Faster
You can check print status in seconds, without manually inspecting your output device -- so whenever a document is ready to go, you can begin printing immediately.

Scan More Quickly
Scanning destinations can be set or changed from your desktop, without making changes on individual control panels.

Add Information
You can also add information, including new scan destinations, or set default settings to match your workflow needs -- for example, always duplexing to save paper.

Maintain Security
Setup configurations can only be accessed by administrators, so end-users can’t accidentally change settings or compromise security.

Note 1: Legacy Konica models have a similar web utility with a look and feel that differ from PageScope Web Connection.

Note 2: PageScope Web Connection is formerly known as PageScope Light.
